I have now seen four Great River Shakespeare Festival productions and I'm now someone with a four-item ranked list of Shakespeare plays: Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, The Comedy of Errors. That last one is a very slight play featuring mistaken identities and twins (because Shakespeare apparently only knew how to write one kind of comedy), but the production we saw on Friday was totally committed to the bit and thoroughly entertaining and probably what I'd pick if I had to watch one of these tonight.
